The site you're looking at now is flat HTML hosted on Dreamhost. They provide the hosting, caching, take care of keeping the bad people out and making the site appear faster than it actually is.

Visitors (that's you) are tracked using Google Analytics. I won't use any of the stuff Dreamhost or Google collect to message, spam or otherwise contact you (unless you've messaged me first).

It's that simple.
